Ann Halkett is the Litigation Support Coordinator with Alexander Holburn Beaudin & Lang LLP, a Vancouver insurance defence law firm. She has 18 years of experience and is responsible for advising and assisting on litigation support systems and technologies, electronic discovery, specialized databases and trial presentations. Ann acts as an advisor and consultant to lawyers, paralegals and clients by assessing data and information needs and by providing technology solutions to review and manage large evidentiary files in an economical and defensible manner. Ann is also responsible for training in the use of litigation support software, and for drafting and implementing best practices.
Ann has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Victoria, a Journalism certificate from Langara College, Paralegal certificates in Litigation and Conveyancing from Vancouver Community College, and is a Summation Support In-House Specialist (aka Summation Certified Trainer). Ann frequently lectures for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, and is the Chair of the B.C. Legal Management Association Litigation Support Subsection.
