Kim Smith is the Litigation Support Manager for the Calgary office of Norton Rose Canada (formerly MacLeod Dixon LLP), and has worked at the firm for over 18 years. Kim is responsible for the management of the firm’s litigation support services including the training and management of 13 staff members. In addition, she provides technical assistance to lawyers and clients with respect to electronic management of cases and documentation, training and support directly to the litigation department, and liaises with IT professionals within and outside the firm.

Kim works with legal teams, clients and adverse parties to facilitate project management, case planning, information sharing and case presentation at arbitrations, mediations, discoveries, trials and appeals and has used her experience and knowledge to assist lawyer teams at all levels of the provincial and federal courts. In addition to her legal and supervisory experience, she has extensive knowledge in database management and large volume litigation cases.
