Chantelle Spagnola is an Associate in the Litigation Group at Davies. She has a diverse civil and complex commercial litigation practice focusing on corporate and commercial disputes, class action defence, competition litigation, securities litigation and intellectual property matters. Chantelle has appeared as counsel on litigation proceedings before various courts across Canada, and has also acted as counsel in complex international arbitration proceedings. Chantelle has hands-on experience in acting as counsel in electronic trials, including trials using iPad tablet technology. Notably, Chantelle played an integral role in organizing and executing one of the first trials using iPad tablet technology heard on the Ontario Commercial List in the recent case of Husky Injection Molding Systems Limited v. Robert Schad et al. (2016 ONSC 2297). Chantelle has spoken at numerous conferences and has published articles on a variety of subjects, including on the subject of electronic trials.
