Lisa Evenson joined Harper Grey in 2003 as a paralegal and provides legal assistance to many of the firm’s practice groups in all aspects of evidence management, organization, and analysis.
Lisa has extensive knowledge in the design and use of various document management support systems utilized for complex, document-intensive, and often multi-party claims.
In her role as one of the eDiscovery Specialists for the firm, she provides advice and support to assist with the firm’s various litigation support software, providing on-site technical support to other paralegals and lawyers, as well as assisting clients with the collection of their electronically stored information, and the review, analysis and production of same. Lisa is a Summation iBlaze Certified End-User and Case Manager as well as a Summation Pro Certified End-User.
Lisa is a contributing member of the Practice + Procedures Focus Group that assists the court with the drafting and updating of the Electronic Practice Directive and the Guidelines on Benchmarking of Costs paper for the Canadian Judicial Council.
She graduated from the Capilano University Paralegal program in 1997 and completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2000. She is a member and past Director of the BC Paralegal Association and a member of the British Columbia Legal Management Association (BCLMA) Litigation Support subsection, Association of Litigation Support Professionals (Vancouver) and the International Technology Association.
